ABOUT THE EVENT
Step back in time and gather around the table for an evening of good food, warm company, and autumn tradition at Newell Pioneer Village.
Our annual Harvest Dinner is a cozy celebration of the season, bringing friends, families, and community members together in the historic setting of the Pioneer Mother’s Memorial Cabin. Enjoy a delicious harvest meal surrounded by the charm and history of the Village as we celebrate the traditions of gathering, sharing, and giving thanks.
Over dessert, we’ll share a tradition especially close to our hearts — remembering those who came before us. Each guest is invited to bring a story about an ancestor to share around the table. Perhaps they traveled west along the Oregon Trail, arrived by sea, crossed borders in search of a new home, or simply lived a life and left a story worth remembering. You may choose any ancestor whose story you would like to tell.
No formal presentation is needed - just a name, a memory, a family story, or a little piece of history you’d like to keep alive.
Whether you’ve been part of the Newell Pioneer Village community for years or are visiting us for the first time, we invite you to slow down, enjoy a wonderful meal, share a story, and spend an autumn evening with us.
Come hungry, bring someone you love, and join us for a memorable night where history, harvest, and community come together.
